Greetings from Kenya

Today is our 37th wedding anniversary, though we find ourselves on opposite sides of the world! I (Todd) am in Nairobi, Kenya, and Pamala is in Atlanta, Georgia.

As part of my role as a Regional Consultant Coordinator, I’m attending workshops in Nairobi for consultants-in-training, i.e., those in the process of becoming Bible translation consultants. We have gathered from many nations of Asia, Africa, and Europe for the training, and so far have covered various topics such as approaches to Bible translation, procedures of conducting a consulting meeting, roles of a Bible translation consultant, literary genres of the Bible, and quality assurance in Bible translation. Below are a few pictures from Nairobi.

While I’m away, Pamala, Daniel, and Ariela are in Atlanta, helping Matthew. Matthew rents out the upper level of his house and lives in the lower level, which he is finishing. Pam, Daniel, and Ariela are helping him paint and lay flooring. Below are some pictures from Atlanta.

In previous posts, I’ve mentioned that our teams have distributed the newly completed New Testaments in different parts of Serbia. Recently, some of them traveled to Germany, where they distributed the NT to Roma who live there. Below are some pictures from Germany.

Before leaving for Nairobi, Ariela and I went to Oklahoma City to visit my mom, Geri, in the nursing home, and on the way home, we attended a very worshipful Phil Wickham concert. See pictures below.

Ariela has completed another year of American Heritage Girls and was recently recognized for the badges, patches, and service stars she earned. We’re very proud of her for her hard work! See a couple of pictures below.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support.

To God be the glory,

Todd
