We were supposed to leave Kansas City on Wednesday morning to connect in Chicago, and then Munich, Germany, and then go on to Zagreb, Croatia. But due to bad weather, the KC flight was delayed, so we missed the connection in Chicago. A very long story short, we couldn’t get flights, so we had to stay in Chicago two nights at our own expense.
Some of the summer team members, who flew through Detroit and Amsterdam, were also delayed but eventually arrived in Croatia several hours late. We are still in Chicago, waiting to board our flights to Vienna, then on to Zagreb, Croatia. We’ll arrive two days late, so please pray that we can still get all the logistics taken care of, prepare the Bible skits and crafts, and begin the children’s Bible clubs/Vacation Bible School on Sunday evening in the Roma village.
Please also pray that all our luggage with the crafts, candy, and supplies (another story) arrives in Zagreb with us.Â
