A couple Christmases ago, I was in a thift store in Blue Springs (Kansas City), with three of my kids, looking for clothes for them. A nice lady and her teenaged daughter approached us, held out a $50 bill, and asked if she could give it to us. She just wanted to bless us with this. (I saw that she had an envelope of money and had been giving to others as well.) I was humbled and surprised. Being the one who has lived and worked among the poor in Bosnia, Croatia and Hungary, I was usually the one distributing money to others. It was quiet amazing to be on the other end in such an unexpected ways. Praise God for his provision in so many unexpected ways.
