Daniel turned 7 on March 19 and celebrated with friends at the home school co-op, including our son-in-law, Stephen Sell, who was visiting from the States. Mom made a volcano cake for him! Later that night we roasted hot dogs over a fire in the back yard. A fun day!

We had a great time celebrating Pam’s 46th birthday with coffee, a treat and salad at a fancy coffee house nearby, and back at the house with pizza and friends from Bosnia who were visiting!

Week at SHARE conference in Siófok, Hungary
We had a wonderful week at the SHARE educational conference in Siófok, Hungary. We saw lots of friends, had great worship and Bible teaching and many great sessions and workshops to help us in our parenting and home schooling our kids.

46 year-old manger scene
This is the manger scene (here on my parents’ coffee table in their living room) that they have used annually since I was two years old. I remember playing with it many times.
