We have given a name to each baby that we have lost through miscarriage (1997, 2003, and now 2010). The babies were too little for us to know the gender so we chose to give them each a boy name and a girl name: Benjamin Hope (1997), Joseph Faith (2003) and Jacob Love (2010). The boy name is a name of one of Abraham’s descendants, reminding us that the God of Abraham has promised good for us. The girl names remind us to trust in Him for good things to come in our eternal home in heaven, where there will be no pain, no tears, no loss and no sorrow.
