URGENT: Our van is stolen! Please PRAY!
Todd just called me from downtown Budapest. After getting out of Hungarian language class, he went to the car, along with Elizabeth who’d been downtown studying, to leave, and there was NO VAN. It was parked in a legal place, though they are checking to make sure it wasn’t taken by the police by mistake. He faithfully puts on the lock that attaches the steering wheel to the accelerator, but a professional thief, as there are many in this area, would be able to take care of that. He parks in the same general place at the same time each class day, so a thief would also know his time frame. Two car seats are in it for our youngest children. He found out shortly after 12:30 our time Thursday. We are 7 hours ahead of CST.
Please pray that in all of this God will be glorified, that He will show Himself strong for us, and that the Gospel will go forward. We are not unaware that yesterday’s post on the Todd Price blog on the wordpress site includes BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) contrary to the Kingdom of Darkness. The growl of the Enemy is nothing to laugh at, but being on the Victor’s side, it is also nothing to fear. So we pray in the Almighty name of Jesus Christ, the Most High, that this situation will resolve to the Glory of God, and it would be really nice to get the van back!
